The Turin Giants Appoint Previous Italy Manager the Experienced Gaffer

The Old Lady have chosen former Italy manager the veteran manager to take the helm for the rest of the term.

The experienced coach replaces his predecessor, who was dismissed after the Serie A side's defeat by Lazio last weekend.

Tudor arrived at the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but departed after seven months after an eight-game winless streak.

Spalletti guided Napoli to the Serie A crown in 2022-23 before taking charge of Italy, who had failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup with Mancini at the helm.

He helped them qualify for Euro 2024 but were eliminated in the round of 16 by Switzerland.

Nonetheless, Italy dismissed Spalletti in June after a World Cup qualifying defeat by Norway, as Italy faced the possibility of not making a third World Cup in a row.

He has previously coached Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Italy's top flight and lifted the Russian league trophy twice while at Zenit St Petersburg.

Massimo Brambilla took interim charge of Juventus in the midweek 3-1 triumph over Udinese moving them to seventh position in the league - trailing leaders Napoli by six points after nine matches.

They are 25th in the league phase of the Champions League, having lost once and drawn twice in their opening three matches.
